What I Ate Wednesday…On the 21 Day Fix

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done an official What I Ate Wednesday post so I figured what better time to do one than in the middle of my 21DayFix. You can read more on the Fix and join me in a challenge by purchasing the kit here.

Thanks so much to Jen for hosting What I Ate Wednesday and you can check out so many more posts from other blogs on her blog. Now onto my meals. This is what I ate during a typical day of the 21DayFix!

Sweet potatoes with unsweetened coconut flakes, and cinnamon. 1 Yellow and 1 Orange

Spaghetti squash with diced tomatoes, 1 chicken burger, and parmesan. 2 Greens, 1 Red, and 1 Blue

Shakeology mixed with water and ice. 1 Red

2 eggs and butternut squash with a gluten free tortilla. 1 Red, 1 Green, and 1 Yellow
Protein shake with whey protein and frozen strawberries. Apple slices on the side. 1 Red, 2 Purples

So far I am really loving the 21DayFix and am having great results. I feel satisfied all day long and it is just easy! I currently have a couple upcoming challenge groups that will be going through the 21DayFix together and if you’re interested I’d love to have you join me. Feel free to send me any questions, or let me know you want in by commenting below or sending me an email to [email protected]

Happy Wednesday!

This is a bit disappointing to me, as you flat out encouraged me to stay away from these types of programs! What gives?

Hey Sheri! I’m sorry if you’re feeling disappointed about this. I’m not sure if you have been following along with my blog but I encourage you to read this post: http://danielleprestejohn.com/?p=4681 I have personally changed my direction a bit and now focus on a healthy nutrition and fitness based approach. For someone who is still struggling with body image and emotional eating or eating disorders, I stand by my recommendation that a program like this is absolutely not for them because there is other work that needs to be done. If you are looking for an emotional eating coach or body image coach, I am happy to send along some great recommendations but unfortunately that is no longer my focus. Best of luck on your journey xo

Looking forward to seeing how you get on with the 21dayfix – am checking it out myself now. In some serious need for a decent programme to follow since the last couple of months have been far from healthy for me!

I’d definitely give it a try Cat! I’m really loving it. Let me know if you have any questions at all :)

    Hi Danielle,
I have a history with restricting and binge eating. I was wondering how you feel about implementing the 21 day fix when dealing with a checkered eating history. Thanks!!

Hey Shannon! To be honest, it would depend on how much you feel like these issues still come up! Feel free to send me an email ([email protected]) so we can discuss it further and see if something like this would be okay for you. My first instinct is that if it is still a struggle the workouts may be great for you but the exact nutrition plan may not! I’d be happy to work with you personally on the nutrition piece though! Let me know!
