Where has hating your body gotten you?
•
Yes you?
•
Hating yourself will never serve you.
•
I spent years hoping if I hated my body enough I would just do something about it. But nothing changed.
•
Crash diets. Hours on the treadmill. Not going out because I had nothing to wear {with a closet full of clothes}.
I continued to hate. Pull apart. Avoid mirrors. Pinch my fat.
And nothing changed.
•
So I decided to try a different approach {and trust me, it’s still very much a work in progress}.
•
I started loving what I have.
Appreciating my body for the things it could do instead of tearing apart the way it looked.
Going out even when I didn’t feel like it.
Fueling my body well and not “judging” my food choices.
Moving my body in a way that was fun.
•
And no my body didn’t change very drastically, but something much more important did…my mindset.
•
Hating yourself will not serve you anymore. Loving yourself will. 💛
