TRANSFORMATION

Coaching is not always cupcakes and sprinkles all the time 🍰
It can be scary to share your life with social media.
It can mean late nights, or getting up early and saying goodbye to Netflix time.
It means sharing your imperfections with the world and taking on judgement.

But it’s days like today that remind me EXACTLY why I do this. 🙌
Our ladies checking in with their final results from our 80 Day program made my heart so happy.

Things like….

💜Lost 17 lbs
💚Down 25 inches overall
💛Regained sooo much of my confidence
💙Clothes fitting nicely
💜No giving up like I have in the past
💛 I am finally comfortable in my own skin.
💚I have lost a total of 16 pounds and 20 inches overall.
💜I lost 25 lbs and 36.5 inches

And a special shout out to my coach Allie, who CRUSHED her 16 week journey. She committed 110% and the results show it. So proud of you lady 💕

Reality Check

Reminder… just because it looks like someone has it all together on social media doesn’t mean that’s always true. 💕

I should be in Mexico today on an all expenses paid vacation that I worked my butt off for. 🍍

Reality: I’m in Massachusetts. Trying to figure out a last minute move after a mini flare up of anxiety and depression.

I didn’t want to be the third wheel on vacay.

I was nervous to fly to Mexico alone.

I have a great job that I love. An awesome place to live, and soon a new one. And for the most part tend to have my you know what put together, but I have my obstacles too.

I’m sharing all this not for sympathy. I’m honestly quite happy with my decision, but because I never want to pretend my life is perfect.

And reality is: no one has it all together. So next time you look at that “perfect” person remember… their reality is probably very different than their “gram”. ✌️

This or That?!!

Let’s chat a bit about VOLUME. Both of these options are carbohydrate sources. Both contain sugar. One will leave you a whole lot fuller than the other. 🍓

Why?! Strawberries are a much higher volume food (meaning you can eat more for less calories). They’ll still cure your sweet tooth AND they have fiber and more nutrients than the gummy bears, which are straight up sugar. 🍭
.
Is either a “bad” option? Absolutely NOT. For example, if you’re really craving gummy bears, a small portion may be enough to fix the craving BUT if you’re genuinely hungry or looking for a more regular option to satisfy your sweet tooth with… go for the strawberries.
Little Tip: Try them frozen! They’ll take longer to eat!!

Never ever go it ALONE

Today I got to welcome a bunch of new ladies to my coaching team and it reminded me of exactly how I felt when I started coaching.
.
Kind of lost.
Hopeless on my own health & fitness journey.
Insecure. 
Alone.
.
Never in a million years did I think I would actually be successful with this. Then I learned something…
There were a lot of other ladies out there feeling that exact same way.
.,
Feeling like they were the only ones who struggled with their weight.
The only ones lacking self control with a jar of peanut butter.
The only ones without a “girl gang” of friends.
The only ones completely uncomfortable in their own skin.
.
My one goal with coaching was never to help people lose weight. It was never to get people super fit with six pack abs. It was not even to educate them about nutrition (even though I love that too).
.
My number one goal has always been to help women not feel ALONE on their journey and with their struggles. 💕
And now I’m creating a whole community of women who are passionate about doing the same and that is the best feeling in the world. 👯
.
Trust me, I’ve been there too and I PROMISE you don’t have to go it alone. Just a reminder that you are never ever alone. Always here. 😘

Never Miss a Monday

Never miss a MONDAY
.
I was always the farthest thing from athletic.
I trip over objects that aren’t there.
I fall up stairs. 
I quit cross country after one day.
.
But for whatever reason fitness came into my life at a time I needed it most.
.
It taught me to be proud of my body for what it could do – instead of stressing over how it looked.
.
Just a reminder that you don’t have to be strong, or fast, or even know what you’re doing. You just have to move. 🏋️‍♀️
