Do you hate MONDAY’S???

I used to dread Sunday nights. Even at the age of 10, I hated school and always loathed the Sunday night anticipation of another week ahead. As I got older it became the college fear of Monday’s diet starting from scratch another week of restriction and endless hours of cardio.

Then the real world hit, and Monday’s were still a struggle, as I knew less sleep, long hours, and doing things I weren’t very passionate about were looming in the week ahead. Not only that, I had long drives, and a vicious cycle of restriction and overeating to anticipate.

Monday’s are now my favorite day.

Monday’s are a fresh start.

A day to continue with my healthy lifestyle.

The opportunity to help a whole bunch of people in the week ahead.

Monday’s have now become just any other day. Why?

Because I took my power back. I decided I no longer wanted to settle for a less than mediocre life. Even though I was terrified to fail, was SUPER skeptical of the opportunity in front of me, and had ZERO confidence in myself, I decided to STOP with the excuses.

The only one in your way is YOU.

So I invite you to make the decision too.

Anyone ever dread another Monday back to work? What about missing out on something you really wanted to do because you “had to work”?

Anyone ever have to say no to buying something you really wanted because you knew you had a bill coming?

Me too. But not anymore.

16 months ago I made a life-changing decision to take control over my OWN life.
Now I get to live a life I never thought possible. I get to work my own hours, wear yoga pants daily, work from home as a stay at home dog mom, all while helping other women on their own journeys to improve their life.

And now, I want to give you the chance to take control too.

On Tuesday night, September 29th I’m going to give you a glimpse into what I do and how I do it. You’ll get a no strings attached look at this life-changing opportunity that made me never dread another Monday again.

Getting my StitchFix

Today I have something really awesome to share with you! A while back I read a review on the Fitnessista’s blog about Stitch Fix. After reading her review I immediately headed over to their site and signed up. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the company and am so excited to share it with you.  I am usually not a huge fan of product reviews on my site unless I absolutely love the product and this I certainly do.

What is it??? StitchFix is essentially a styling company. Once you sign up with them you fill out a detailed styling survey asking questions for sizing, style preference, color preference, price range, etc… It even went so far as to ask whether or not I liked certain outfits. They also request access to your Facebook page to get a better idea of your looks and personal style. You then pick a date to receive your “fix” and they send out a package with 5 clothing and accessories items. You are charged $20.00 for a styling fee which is later put towards your purchase. You get to try them on at home and if you like them you keep them and pay for the items. If not you can send back the pieces you don’t like, keep what you do, or just send everything back within 3 business days. They make this perfectly easy by sending along a prepaid shipping bag just in case. You can then repeat the process as often as you like. So every month you could potentially have  a new box of clothes at your doorstep.

What I loved??? I hate shopping. I love browsing and looking around but hate trying things on and never actually find anything I like. Solution: have someone pick everything out for me. I ended up loving everything in my first shipment and shockingly everything fit me great. Once you try everything on they have you fill out a survey for your next shipment to say what you liked and didn’t like about each piece. Even the colors were perfect for me. I’m usually a fan of darker colors and everything was grey, brown, or dark tones, aside from a blue dress which is the one color I tend to wear. My shipment came on the exact day it was scheduled t0. I liked trying everything on at home too. I didn’t have to worry about any horrific dressing room lighting!

Some really cool features??? Each piece comes with a card with some styling ideas for the piece. Here’s an example of one…  Only problem is now I want to buy everything else on the card. This might be dangerous! My package also came with a free gift of pretty post its! I think they know me too well…

I wanted to share this with you today because I thought it would be a really great present for some last minute shopping. How fun is it to get new clothes in the mail every month!

For more information and to sign up check out the site here

What are your thoughts on these monthly “boxes”??? They have them for everything now and seems to make everything so much more convenient.

Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way for this review. I am however an affiliate of the company. I purchased my stitchfix shipment and wanted to share a really awesome experience and a really great company. Because I loved the company so I applied for their affiliate program and am now an affiliate!
