It’s been a while since I’ve shared my weekly meal plan with you, so I wanted to give you a better idea of how I’ve been eating lately! Working on getting in plenty of lean proteins and green veggies, plus I’ve been playing around with my timing of carbohydrate and fat intake! Here is the plan for this week. Every once in a while my energy levels drop, and I know it’s time for a rest week. This is usually a week I cut back a lot on my workouts, clean up my diet a bunch, and simplify. Here is my meal plan for that week. It is based largely on the Ultimate Reset and is completely plant based. I’m looking forward to feeling refreshed and renewed.
This is not something I typically talk about but one thing I struggle with is Adrenal Fatigue. Ever since recovering from my eating disorder, I’ve battled constant fatigue and am always looking for ways to pick up my energy a bit.
Most recently I’ve been reading, The Adrenal Reset Diet, and wanted to give it a try with my meal plan this week. The basis behind it has to do with timing of carbohydrate intake and is based on this outline:
Meal One: One Protein, One Fat, One Carb
Meal Two: One Protein, One Fat, Two Carbs
Meal Three: One Protein, One Fat, Three Carbs
