The Key to Motivation

Wanna know my secret to staying on my fitness journey?! 🦄

I have other people counting on me.

I’ve always struggled fighting for myself, but if there is one thing I’m REALLY good at it’s showing up for other people.

While chatting with a client today who’s been struggling to commit to a fitness routine, I realized just how KEY that piece of accountability is.

We made a game plan where she would meet her friend for their workout 3 times a week to get started (because baby steps are important).

Now she’ll be showing up not just for herself, but because she knows someone is counting on her.

And quite honestly, that’s been my magic trick to holding myself accountable on the days when I DON’T feel like working out or eating right.

–> I know I have a team of ladies who are counting on me.
–> I know I have to share a check in and my life on social media.
–> I know in order to set an example for others I have to follow through too.

And it’s never about being perfect, but it is about showing up and making an effort. It’s about PROGRESS.

Did you show up today?! 🙋

Need a little extra accountability? Want the ultimate accountability by becoming a coach? Always here and you can do it too 😘

The Truth about HEALTH

I hate to break it to you sister – but living an active and healthy lifestyle doesn’t always equate to looking like a model.

Every body is so different, and health really does look different on everyone.

At my tiniest I was dealing with constant fatigue, low blood pressure, and panic attacks.
At my heaviest I was neglecting my health and fitness in favor of “body positivity”, I was sluggish, and even more insecure in my skin than ever before.
Then I found balance.

I workout 5 days a week, eat healthy 80 percent of the time and most certainly do not look like a model.
But I’m happy, I’m healthy and most importantly my MINDSET is in such a better place.

Workout to energize your body.
Eat well to nourish your body and thrive.
Find balance and stop comparing. Take care of you on the inside and I PROMISE you’ll glow on the outside – size two or not 😘

The Power of Self Love

Where has hating your body gotten you?

Yes you?

Hating yourself will never serve you.

I spent years hoping if I hated my body enough I would just do something about it. But nothing changed.

Crash diets. Hours on the treadmill. Not going out because I had nothing to wear {with a closet full of clothes}.
I continued to hate. Pull apart. Avoid mirrors. Pinch my fat.
And nothing changed.

So I decided to try a different approach {and trust me, it’s still very much a work in progress}.

I started loving what I have.
Appreciating my body for the things it could do instead of tearing apart the way it looked.
Going out even when I didn’t feel like it.
Fueling my body well and not “judging” my food choices.
Moving my body in a way that was fun.

And no my body didn’t change very drastically, but something much more important did…my mindset.

Hating yourself will not serve you anymore. Loving yourself will. 💛

What you see vs. me…

True Story: I almost didn’t post this picture last week.
.
Then I had to laugh at myself as I read some of the comments… not once did someone mention the ONE thing that was glaringly obvious to me.
.
Know what it is was?! 🤔
The little extra chunk and cellulite on my legs.
.
I wanted to share this to prove a point. We are in fact our own worst critics. The things you notice on yourself, pull apart, that seem sooooo obvious to you… are often times invisible to others.
.
Stop being your own worst critic and start trying to see yourself through the eyes of others.💕
.
Sure you may never match the “perfect” photoshopped images you see on social media, but you are YOU and that is something you should be so PROUD of. Own it. Little extra on the thighs and all. 😘

Mondaze

Mondays can be whatever you make them.
.
A bad day. Rainy weather. 🌂 Start to a another stressful week. 😤
OR
A good day despite some obstacles. A day closer to summer. ☀️ A fresh start, a clean slate, and a brand new week. 🙌
.
See how I did that?! 😉
Just a reminder that life is what you make it.
.
Change your mindset. Change your life. 💕
