I am SO excited for the launch of our newest program – #mbf- Muscle Burns Fat! And the most exciting part… it’s really two programs in one – #mbfa (Muscle Burns Fat Advanced) is designed to be completed right after! I cannot wait for 6 full weeks of new workouts!

What is #mbf?

Basics:

#MBF is made up  of two 3-week programs—#MBF Muscle Burns Fat and #MBFA Muscle Burns Fat Advanced—designed to be done back-to-back. #MBF is perfect for beginners and will lead you right into #MBFA. Led by Super Trainer Megan Davies, these 25- to 45-minute strength-training and cardio workouts will help you tone, tighten and scorch calories!

  • Set to music so you can push your pace, find your rhythm, and let the music help drive you to burn maximum calories.
  • 7 days a week: M/W/F- Strength training, T/H- Cardio, Saturday- EMOMs (every minute on the minute), Sunday- Recovery

What kinds of workouts are there?

Strength training (3x/week) happens on Monday (Lower Body Burn), Wednesday (Upper Body Burn), and Friday (Full Body Burn), and includes asymmetrical moves where you’ll use one weight instead of two. Megan’s reason being, “when you’re lifting with one weight, your body is forced to compensate for the imbalance, which engages your core. By challenging your body, you’ll burn more calories and get the most out of each workout.”

Cardio workouts (2x/week) are Tuesday and Thursday (Core Circuit) that will always end with a AMRAP-as many reps as possible so you can try and beat it next time you have a cardio workout. These will have an emphasis on fat-burning and will incorporate the BOD rope.

EMOMs (1x/week – every minute on the minute) will be on Saturdays! This 25 minute, once a week workout will push you to give everything you’ve got.

Sunday stretch and flow (Dynamic Recover) workouts will help you ease tension, boost mobility and optimize your recover to help you get ready for the next week

What is the nutrition plan like?

I am so excited about the release of our newest program- 10 Rounds! Boxing gyms are all the rage- boxing is one of the best TOTAL-body workouts you can do. But for some, stepping into a boxing gym can be pretty intimidating. But now you can have a boxing gym  in your house!

What is 10 Rounds?

Basics:

  • 6 weeks
  • 5 workouts a week
  • 3 boxing workouts and 2 lifting workouts a week

-Boxing workouts are broken up into 10 rounds- 3 minutes each, focusing on punching combinations and footwork that progresses throughout the 6 weeks

Joel will teach you how every move actually begins at your feet, moves up through your hips, uses your core, and explodes all the way through your fists. With every punch you use your entire body- scorching calories and toning. This program is built around the simple and precise movements of boxing- without the impact! You won’t be using a sparring partner or hitting a heavy bag- instead you will train the way real boxers do- with shadowboxing! 

The 3 boxing days are combined with conditioning drills that help build:
-Power
Speed/agility
Endurance

The two days of weightlifting workouts include
Upper Body to build strength and power

Lower Body/Legs- since every punch starts at your feet

And of course, there is amazing music in every workout to help keep you moving and give you the energy to keep going!

So what is LIIFT4?!

This is a no-nonsense combination of weightlifting and high intensity (HIIT) cardio to build muscle and lose fat. The moves are based on classic weightlifting techniques that let you isolate, stabilize and focus each rep on the muscle group you’re working.

Every workout ends with a core routine for even more results! There are no gimmicky moves, no overly complicated routines and no opportunity for boredom because you’ll never do the same workout twice. Get it DONE in just 4 days a week, 30-40 minutes a day, 8 weeks total.

How does this work? Will I really get results from only 4 days a week?

Because you’re only working out 4 days a week, Joel makes every second count during each workout; they’re structured to keep you lifting on pace and constantly moving, while timed rest periods allow you to catch your breath before attacking each set.

Joel believes if you train smart you’ll never overtrain. Three recovery days a week give muscles time to repair so you can push harder, lift heavier, and get better results faster.

There are two phases for maximum results: For the first 6 weeks, you’ll build, cut, and define your body, followed by 2 weeks to burn through calories and fat, revealing your ultimate physique.

When does it get released?

What Equipment Do I Need?

All you need is a set of light, medium, and heavy weights (depending on your fitness level), or you can substitute with resistance bands which is great for travel, especially during the summertime.  You’ll just need about a 6×6 space to get this program done.

What intensity level is LIIFT4?

The intensity level of LIIFT4 is high. Whether you’re weightlifting or HIIT training, the breaks are short and Joel continually pushes you to do your best.

This is an intermediate to advanced program, but don’t let that scare you. There’s a modifier you can follow for every workout.

To all the diet failures…

Have you ever felt like a DIET FAILURE? 🙋

For YEARS I was constantly on the search for the next great diet.
I would cut out foods.
I would count calories, macros, containers, ALL the things. 
I would OBSESS over my next meal.
I would skip nights out, dinners, or miss out on vacation because of the “diet”.

Then, most often, my stomach would grumble. I’d get stressed. The scale wouldn’t budge. I’d be frustrated and I’d end up knee deep in a jar of peanut butter that was “off limits” an hour earlier.

I always felt like there was something WRONG with me because I couldn’t stick to the diet. Where was my willpower?!

Does any of this sound familiar? 😩

If so I get you and I promise you are not the problem. While most diets in theory will work if you follow them; yes if you follow the grapefruit diet you will lose weight, there’s usually two main problems.
.
1️⃣ They are unrealistic for the long term (i.e. you’re going to get hungry, eat a carb, enjoy dinner out at some point). What you’re following needs to be sustainable for life AKA you don’t gain all the weight back.
AND
2️⃣ They don’t address one of the MAJOR components holding people back from weight loss – MINDSET. Like it or not the majority of people fail on their diet because of their MINDSET and not the diet itself.

So instead of getting derailed by shiny objects, wraps, and skinny teas, focus on making a lifestyle change. Figure out what works for YOU as an individual, and stick with it, change your mindset – change your life. ✌️💕
